We took advantage of this settled spell of cold weather to visit Arran and climb Goatfell.  Goatfell was in its winter coat, the walk up from Corrie varied from a spring ramble to full-on winter walk on the final approach to the top.  With the holidays many people had made the ascent, turning the path into a steep hard-packed climb.  However the summit views were superb.
