After having heard the sad news of the death of Stewart Wilkinson, one of the clubs stalwarts, it was with heavy heart that four of us set of to Steall Hut in Glen Nevis.

The forecast did not look the best but we thought Saturday might give us a reasonable day, however when we arrived it was waterproofs on from the start.
Arriving in the dark made the walk-in interesting and the bridge crossing more so.

Saturday morning saw the benefit of positive thinking and we set of up Glen Nevis with the water proofs in the rucksack. On the slopes of Sgurr Choinnich Beag we went our separate ways with Ian deciding on a big day; Stob Ban, the Grey Corries. Jackie and Colin heading part of the way along and myself heading onto Stob Coire Bhaelaich and Aonach Beag. The weather stayed good until late afternoon when the wind got up and the rain started.
